Our wood-carving workshop filled up fast - so Lê Tâm is back with a summer run.

This 5-session hands-on course takes you from a rough block of basswood to a finished personal piece. No experience needed - just curiosity and the willingness to work with your hands.

What you'll learn:
- Wood types and how to choose the right one
- Safe and proper handling of carving knives, chisels & mallet
- Carving from sketch to finished form
- Sanding and smoothing techniques
- Waxing and finishing your piece

5-Session Outline:
→ Session 1: Materials, tools & ideation
→ Session 2: Sketching, transferring to wood & rough carving
→ Session 3: Rough carving continued & moving into detail
→ Session 4: Detail carving & sanding
→ Session 5: Finishing & waxing

What to bring: Pencil · Sketchbook · Ruler
All carving tools provided.
Take home whatever suits you - a wood sculpture, a decorative piece, or a small functional object. Your hands made it, it's yours to keep.

Khoá khắc gỗ của tụi mình đã kín chỗ rất nhanh - vì vậy giảng viên Lê Tâm quay lại với một khoá mới trong mùa hè này.

Khoá học 5 buổi thực hành sẽ đưa bạn từ một khúc gỗ thô đến một tác phẩm hoàn chỉnh mang dấu ấn cá nhân. Không cần kinh nghiệm - chỉ cần sự tò mò và đôi tay sẵn sàng làm việc.

Bạn sẽ học được:
- Các loại gỗ và cách chọn gỗ phù hợp
- Sử dụng dao khắc, đục và búa an toàn và đúng kỹ thuật
- Quá trình khắc từ phác thảo đến thành phẩm
- Kỹ thuật chà nhám và làm mịn bề mặt
- Đánh sáp và hoàn thiện tác phẩm

Giáo trình 5 buổi:
→ Buổi 1: Chất liệu, dụng cụ & lên ý tưởng
→ Buổi 2: Phác thảo, chuyển hình lên gỗ & đục thô
→ Buổi 3: Tiếp tục đục thô & chuyển sang đục chi tiết
→ Buổi 4: Đục chi tiết & chà nhám
→ Buổi 5: Hoàn thiện & đánh sáp

Bạn cần mang theo: Bút chì · Sketchbook · Thước
Toàn bộ dụng cụ khắc gỗ được cung cấp tại studio.
Mang về bất cứ thứ gì bạn muốn tạo ra - tượng gỗ, vật trang trí, hay một món đồ nhỏ có công năng. Tác phẩm của bạn, do tay bạn làm.
